Recently, the college opened its annual Experience EHE week – highlighting our collective impact in research, scholarship, student support as well as our connections and collaborations with community partners – with the inaugural EHE Legacy Lecture Series. The event honored the rich legacies of our distinguished faculty emeriti who have helped shape EHE and contributed to the betterment of the local and global communities we serve.
Dr. David Bloome, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Teaching and Learning and Dr. Cynthia Buettner, Professor Emeritus in the Department of Human Sciences who served as inaugural speakers at the EHE Legacy Lecture Series.
The evening also featured a pre-event art exhibit with works by students at Berwick Alternative PK-8 School. The artwork was curated from the EHE-OSU Equity and Justice Read Around project that brings together Central Ohio educators and young people to read and discuss works related to justice and equity. You can find more information about this initiative on the EHE EDGE Office website.
